ARRI ALEXA Mini LF Camera (LPL) , based on a widescreen 4K version of the original ALEXA sensor, this ARRI ALEXA Mini LF caged V-mount (LPL) camera kit features native 4K recording in three sensor modes with ARRIRAW or ProRes recording in LF Open Gate, LF 16:9 or LF 2.39:1.
The ALEXA Mini LF combines widescreen resolution with optimum pixel size for superior image quality, producing vivid, detailed images with natural skin tones and smooth bokeh. The ALEXA Mini LF uses the ARRI LPL lens mount, which is optimized for wide-format shooting and is compatible with all PL mount lenses when using the PL-LPL adapter. The wider diameter and shallower flange focal depth than the original ARRI PL mount allows LPL mount lenses to be smaller and lighter than earlier large format optics.
The ALEXA Mini LF is a hybrid of the ALEXA Mini and ALEXA LF, as it retains the same LF sensor but has the Mini form factor. The new look has a left media bay with two rows of connectors on the back and a slot for inserting 1TB Codex media. It also has six custom buttons, three more than the Mini, that can be customized to your liking. It also has additional 12V and 24V power outputs and a three-level Black Burst input. The audio jack is now 6-pin, so it doesn't conflict with the 5-pin timecode port.
