In the lineup of movie lenses ARRI Master Prime 16 focal lengths from ARRI/Zeissfeaturing superb resolution, enhanced contrast, almost no breathing and a fast T1.3 aperture to achieve shallow depth of field. Ranging from 12mm to 150mm, the Master Prime prime zoom lenses offer the flesh tones and color reproduction for which Zeiss is renowned, and are color-coordinated for consistency across the kit. These lenses have an aperture with no less than nine blades for cinematic bokeh with a distinct focus drop. Dual floating elements ensure optimal performance at close range, minimizing breathing when focusing. Advanced T*XP coating reduces reflections and flare for improved contrast.
ARRI/Zeiss Master Prime lenses with aspherical elements to minimize chromatic aberrations provide optimum image quality and clean chromatic manipulation. High resolution is maintained in the corners of the image even when the aperture is wide open and at close focus. Each lens is equipped with a PL mount and built-in LDS for transferring lens data to compatible cameras. The extended focus dial has ample space for markings and fluorescent engraving for easy viewing in low light conditions. The focus ring is labeled in both feet and metric; the ring can be flipped from one to the other by a qualified technician.
